The Spanish striker could be the new star of the 2017 Liga MX Clausura

After their return to Liga MX, team Necaxa (based in the city of Aguascalientes) is keen to forget their recent decline and is preparing to become one of the big players of Mexican soccer by completing the signing of Spanish player David Villa.

According to Fox Sports, Necaxas’ directives became interested in the striker after their friendly game against New York City, and are now seeking to strengthen themselves for the next tournament with the possibility of Chilean Edson Puch (who is being linked heavily with América) leaving.

During his stay in Aquascalientes, “El Guaje” (The Kid) did not rule out his arrival to Mexican football in the 2017 Clausura. So, the 34-year-old attacker could still be the new star of Mexican football.
