Dates and times have been determined for the finals of the 2016 Torneo Clausura of the Liga MX that will feature Monterrey and Pachuca, on Thursday and Sunday nights.
The first title game will take place at 8:06 p.m. Thursday at the Hidalgo stadium, where los Tuzos of Pachuca will try to gain an advantage before the “return” match, or second leg.
The second match will take place in the new home stadium of los Rayados of Monterrey, where they search to confirm why they they were the team with the best season record, kicking off at 8:36 p.m., Sunday.
This playoff session, la liguilla, Pachuca has eliminated Santos, and more recently Sunday night, León, while los Rayados on their way passed the likes of the UANL Tigres and Club América.
This year’s finalists have met four times in previous playoffs, all in the quarterfinals, with two triumphs apiece.
