The Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) fully backed the observations made by the State of Mexico Auditor Office (OSFEM), derived from the financial audit carried out on the university between January 1 and December 31, 2015.
Through a financial audit statement, the state control body reported that the elements, documents and data submitted by UAEM were reliable.
The document, signed by chief auditor Fernando Valente Baz Ferreira, indicated that once the information and documentation have been analyzed and evaluated, “all the observations will be made known.”
Rector Jorge Olvera García said that the 2013-2017 administration is open to any audit by the state or federal auditing bodies.
He reiterated his strong commitment to the transparency and accountability of the university administration and finances.
Olvera García said that the resources granted by the state and federal bodies to the university are used in the ways that have been agreed upon and in the areas they had been intended, to comply with the infrastructure necessary to achieve accreditation of study programs.
