Nicolás Alvarado resigned as director of TV UNAM Thursday. Alvarado was named director of the university television channel at the beginning of Enrique Graue’s rectorship.
Alvarado was criticized in social networks after disparaging remarks following the death of singer Juan Gabriel, “El Divo de Juárez.”
