Mexico City’s Ministry of Public Security’s Road Information Center reported that protesters have shut down traffic on Bucareli street starting at Morelos street.
Through its Twitter account @OVIALCDMX, the capital authority posted “#Caution closed circulation on #Bucareli from Morelos by demonstrators. See Alternative Route here.”
They recommended that drivers use Paseo de la Reforma and Juárez avenues, as well as Balderas, Arcos de Belén and Chapultepec Avenue.
Mexico City’s Governance Secretariat also reported on Twitter that today there is a possible blockade at 9 a.m. on Ermita Avenue Iztapalapa and the corner LaFord in Iztapalapa by residents demanding greater security in their neighborhood.
