Primary school students who attended classes were returned home by teachers

Due to the lack of student registration and a planned assembly to celebrate the successes of the National Coordinator of Education Workers (CNTE), the CNTE did not return to classes Monday, despite having previously announced that the would return Sept.19.

Elementary school students who attended classes were returned home by teachers. The teachers explained the the inscription fees still needed to be agreed upon with parents. They hope to commence classes on Sept. 21.

In response, Federalized Education Undersecretary Eduardo Campos Martínez explained that teachers will use that day to clean classrooms, as they have accumulated dust while students have been out of class.
