On the 30th anniversary of its creation, the Folkloric Ballet of the State of Mexico will perform next Friday, August 18, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, with the program titled “Corazón Mexiquense: Las 5 etnias.”
This performance promotes the joy, identity, pride and spirit of being from the State of Mexico, through its traditions and values, said the state’s government.
In a statement, they said that there will be pictures representing the Mexican territory such as “Xhitas de Temascalcingo,” “Zacazonapan,” “La Mariposa Monarca” and “Charros y virginias de Chimalhuacán.”
Other pieces that the public can appreciate are: “Tríptico Mexicano” by Manuel Enríquez, “Coplas de Veracruz” and “Huapango” by José Pablo Moncayo, which will feature the musical accompaniment of the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra.
The Mariachi Renacimiento Choir will also complement the cast and form part of this dance celebration full of color, tradition and Mexican identity.
