The Mexican government condemned “in the strongest terms” the attacks carried out at the airport of Zaventem and the Maelbeek Metro Station in Brussels, Belgium, which caused dozens of deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), Mexico rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expresses its condolences and solidarity to the people and the government of the Kingdom of Belgium, and to the relatives of the victims.
The Foreign Ministry said that the Embassy of Mexico in Brussels is in contact with the government authorities of Belgium and, so far, has not reported any Mexican casualties.
