Passengers traveling in a public transportation van in Periférico Norte were assaulted by two young men. According to the driver of the vehicle, the young men boarded the van at the IMSS Cuauhtémoc Unit bus stop, a few minutes later these men screamed ‘this is a robbery!” and shots were fired.
When the van reached isle “H” in the Cuatro Caminos station, the driver noticed the female passenger riding in the copilot seat had been shot. She was immediately taken to the Traumatology Hospital in Lomas Verdes by paramedics.
One of the robbers was identified as 21-year-old Sergio “N” — who was also injured during the struggle — while his parter died during the assault.
