The Mexico City government reported that rain will continue on Thursday, due to the presence of tropical storm Lidia, in the Pacific.

Rainfall is expected to be light and intermittent throughout the day, becoming far heavier in the evening.

Those areas with the highest probability of heavy rains will be the central, south and west of the capital, as detailed in a report issued Thursday morning.

The presence of tropical storm Lidia has added a great amount of moisture coming from the Pacific Ocean that converges on land in the capital to generate the conditions the city is currently experiencing.
