The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) will carry out a national survellance operation at gas stations to detect and report acts of speculation in the sale of fuels.
The Profeco said that the operations will be carried out mainly in San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Zacatecas and Aguascalientes, as well as some regions of Jalisco.
The agency reminded consumers that they can go to its offices located in several delegations and sub delegations, and can use the free phone numbers 555-68-87-22 in Mexico City and the metropolitan area and 01-800-468-8722 in the rest of the country.
