The Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) demanded electoral and ministerial authorities to investigate possible acts of corruption between Javier Duarte’s government and Morena’s Andrés Manuel López Obrador to rig the 2016 governor elections in Veracruz.
Suspicions arose from a leaked recording of conversations in favor of López Obrador by Veracruz officers.
Enrique Ochoa Reza, PRI party leader, stated that a rigorous investigation is due to clarify said acts of corruption.
