The Phase I Contingency will continue on Thursday as pollution remains

The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has determined that current weather conditions remain propitious to the formation of ozone, due to which the Phase I Contingency will be prolonged until Thursday.

Due to this, and without considering holograms, all vehicles including freight with federal and local plates, with green stickers or plates ending in 1 and 2, as well as vehicles with yellow stickers and plates ending in 5 and 6, will have to suspend their circulation.

Motorcycles with with plates ending in 1, 2, 5 and 6 will also have to suspend all activity.

In the case of vehicles with federal plates, they will have to consider the third numerical digit to establish circulation restrictions.

The federal industry within the metropolitan area from sectors such as cement, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, hydrocarbons and electricity production will have to reduce their emissions by 30 to 40 percent.
