President Enrique Peña Nieto will lead the 51st National Conference of Governors (Conago) Meeting, which will take place in Oaxaca.
Fiscal matters, national and international challenges, security, and the implementation of the new Criminal Justice System will be discussed at the meeting.
According to the official program, there will be a private meeting with the members of the Conago in which the Oaxacan governor Gabino Cué will address those in attendance.
President Peña Nieto will have a conversation with the leaders. In addition, four governors will be recognized: Rafael Moreno Valley (Puebla); Mario López (Sinaloa); Gabino Cué (Oaxaca) And Mariano González (Tlaxcala).
The governor of Oaxaca and Conago’s current president, Gabino Cué, will present the results of the plenary meeting.
President Enrique Peña Nieto will lead a closing ceremony. Interior Secretary Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong and Foreign Affairs Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu will also be in attendance.
After the events in Oaxaca, Peña Nieto will head to Lima, Peru, where he will participate in the XXIV Economic Leaders of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum.
