Osorio Chong: 200 More Federal Police Officers in Veracruz

The Interior Secretary attended the Veracruz Security Meeting on Monday

Interior Secretary Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong stated during a security meeting in Poza Rica, Veracruz, that the federal government will continue to backup Veracruz’s security forces. “Poza Rica and the state of Veracruz have the federal government’s full support to reinforce the work of local authorities,” said Osorio Chong.

He also announced the arrival of 200 additional police officers to join the Federal Police in the municipalities of Juan Rodríguez Clara and Ciudad Isla. Osorio Chong also spoke about fuel theft, as Veracruz is one of the states with the highest index of theft, and reinforced his commitment to solve this issue.
