The state Prosecutor’s Office, with the support of the National Commission for Security and through the federal police, presented a new report on the progress of the investigation that allowed the arrest of policeman Rubén Pérez Andrade, allegedly involved in the disappearance of they youths.
In a meeting carried out in this municipality, the Director of Ministerial Investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of the state of Veracruz, Rosario Zamora González; the Under-Secretary of Human Rights of the Interior Secretariat, Roberto Campa Cifrián, as well as the General Commissioner of the Federal Police Enrique Galindo Ceballos, informed the family members of the victims of the progress of the investigation and the actions carried out in the search.
The authorities informed that this detention is an additional element in the investigation, of which new new lines of investigation have arisen that have not yet been carried out. Further actions have been carried out in the ranch in the municipality of Tlalixcoyan, with the participation forensic and criminalistic experts of the Scientific Division of the Federal Police.
Roberto Campa Cifrián and Enrique Galindo Ceballos ratified the instruction from Interior Secretary Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong to inform the families of any progress in the investigation, with the firm goal of finding the missing youths and detaining those responsible.
