Thousands of mothers of disappeared people and their supporters marched on Paseo de la Reforma to demand justice for the disappeared
MEXICO CITY — Thousands of mothers and other relatives of disappeared people staged a protest on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2016 in Mexico City. More than 23,000 people have been victims of forced disappearances in Mexico during its drug war.
The mothers held pictures of their missing loved ones and demanded justice.
The march started at the Monument to the Mother and ended at the Angel of Independence.
