César Cravioto Romero, the leader of Morena in the Mexico City Congress (ALDF), urged the government to stop cutting down trees in the city, and to invest in high quality public transit.
He noted that the city has a fund of 30 billion pesos, part of which can be used to buy a thousand new buses, including electric buses, which would improve the city’s public transit system.

Another proposal made by Morena is that the grenadiers, the city’s anti-riot force, be used for traffic enforcement.
Cravat asked Mexico City’s mayor, Miguel Ángel Mancera, to “swallow his pride” and change the transit regulations, because “it is completely documented that some measures of the transit regulations are causing problems for movement and worsening pollution.”
