Gov. Carlos Lozano de la Torre (L) received a recognition for his work from the National Defense School. Aguascalientes Gov. Carlos Lozano de la Torre was recognized by the National Defense School for his work in generating conclusive results that show a public policy in favor of Mexico’s development, particularly in Aguascalientes. Before the recognition, the “Objectives, Strategies and Progress of the State Development and Coordination Plan with the Federal Government for a Prosperous Mexico” was announced. The school also celebrated the 35th year of offering Military Administration for Interior Security and National Defense. At the event, Lozano de la Torre said that the work of different productive and social sectors and the coordination with President Enrique Peña Nieto, the federal government and the armed forces has allowed Aguascalientes to advance in integral social prevention strategies. Accompanied by the director of the National Defense School, General Guillermo Almazán Bertotto, and Commander of the 14th Military Zone, Juan Manuel Espinoza Valencia, the governor gave his respect on behalf of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena) for carrying out this meeting with members of the military school. He also said that Aguascalientes is dedicating very important efforts to building a more prosperous Mexico, with the help of the federal government and the armed forces. “Even though challenges and problems that need to be solved exist, in the past five years we have built a foundation for a new stage of development, security and trust. We expect this to continue in future government terms and that we continue to see positive results,” Lozano de la Torre said. The governor said that Aguascalientes is fulfilling their promise in great national challenges, so that the country and its various regions can reach their full potential. He also thanked the armed forces for their support to increase progress and security in the state. Lozano de la Torre repeated his gratitude for the meeting in Aguascalientes with the director and staff of the National Defense School. THE NEWS
