In order to ensure that people have accurate and timely information on how their individual documents are processed, the Mexico City Governance Secretariat is creating a personal data system.
The Mexico City government said that this system will also contribute information so that those searching for their own personal data can effectively exercise their rights to access, rectify, cancel or oppose its use.
They pointed out that the purpose is to serve social organizations, neighborhood representative bodies and social groups and will be governed through political consultation and social and civic attention.
