Ambassador Patricia Espinosa Cantellano backed Aguascalientes activities in Germany and by doing so, showed her trust for the state.
Aguascalientes will reinforce the Mexican and German governments’ proposal to strengthen the ties between the two countries for the Mexico-Germany 2016-2017 Year of Cooperation.
Gov. Carlos Lozano de la Torre specially recognized Espinosa Cantellano’s decision of backing the commercial and cultural mission, which ensures good results in favor of Aguascalientes.
The governor said that the support from the embassy isn’t just a privilege and an honor, but it also shows the trust in Aguascalientes’ people, security and ability to provide investments and academic cooperation.
Espinosa Cantellano, said that the Mexican and German governments have agreed to carry out the Mexico-Germany 2016-2017 Year of Cooperation, in which both countries will promote culture, the economy and education. She added that Aguascalientes will have a special role in this event.
The Foreign Relations Secretariat said that the activities for this event will be divided into three parts: culture and creative industries; commerce, investment and tourism; and education, science and innovation.
The ambassador said that Aguascalientes can enrich promotion in Germany by sending handmade crafts, showing Mexico’s rich culture.
She also said that Mexican food will be promoted through gastronomic shows and introducing Mexican menus to German business that have ties to Mexico.
