Eric del Castillo spoke about the supposed relationship that his daughter Kate has with Joaquín Guzmán Loera. He affirmed that it all began with an error on behalf of the actress, when she published “a reflection” on Twitter asking the capo to traffic with love.
In an interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva the actor said his daughter should not be pilloried for saying that she doesn’t agree with the government because “many people don’t agree.”
Eric del Castillo said his daughter was being pressured to meet again with El Chapo and accused Sean Penn and the producers of the the film about the capo of “deceiving” Kate.
“I would like to speak with the Secretary of the Interior to tell him to stop. I will also tell my daughter to stop,” said the actor.
According to Eric del Castillo, Kate’s lawyers have not been notified of what she’s accused of, although they recognize that if a subpoena arrives, she will be forced to testify.
