“The Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) has been one of the most audited institutions in recent years, which has shown that transparency and resource allocation are available to internal, external, state, and federal audit processes,” said director Jorge Olvera García at an event to celebrate the delivery of ISO 9001-2008 Certificates and the winners of the 2016 Quality Circles.
During the event, Olvera García was joined by the Secretary of Teaching Alfredo Barrera Baca, Lead Auditor of the American Trust Register José Ricardo Livas Brito, as well as Director of Administrative Organization and Development Carlos Alberto Salgado Treviño.
Olvera García added that for 12 years UAEM has being fertile ground for quality, and that next year’s goal will be to achieve the verification of all of the university’s procedures under the 2015 version of ISO 9001, in order to continue as one of the leading institutions of higher education in the country.
