The Second Italy-Latin America Small and Medium Businesses Forum will be held in Guadalajara from March 16 to 18 and will feature discussions on different topics such as competitiveness, innovation and financial instruments.
The event will be attended by institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, academics, technicians and operators. It will be held in Mexico for the first time and will take place in three states: Jalisco, Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí.
José Palacios Jiménez, head of the Economic Development Secretariat (Sedeco), said that Jalisco will address the topics of agricultural, tequila, fashion, information technology, software and automotive businesses.
The aim of the forum is to share experiences on systems and production chains related to the state, and discuss their origins, development and key success factors, as well as discussing experiences regarding small and medium enterprises related to selected economic activities and their links with collaborative models such as the government and universities.
