The National Weather Service (SMN) reported that due to the interaction of the 11th winter storm and the cold fronts number 45 and 46, the intense cold, heavy rains and wind gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour will continue throughout much of the Mexican territory.
The SMN said that the 11th winter storm will be located over the northern and northeastern areas of Mexico; the cold front number 45 will span from the northwestern Gulf of Mexico to the center of Veracruz; and the cold front number 46 will span from southern Texas, in the United States, to Chihuahua and Coahuila.
Southern and southeastern winds with gusts up to 70 kilometers per hour will continue in the costs of Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
The states of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche and Yucatan will experience cold to very cold weather and heavy rains.
There is also a chance of snow or sleet in the mountainous regions of Chihuahua, Durango, Zacatecas, Coahuila, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Puebla and Veracruz.
