Following the announcement from the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) of improved atmospheric conditions, the Environmental Alert has been suspended in Mexico City in view of the foreseeable dispersion of pollutants in the coming hours.
The city returns to the current ‘Hoy No Circula’ driving restriction program on Thursday, which will include vehicles with green sticker and license plates ending in 1 and 2, as well as holograms 1, 2, 0 and double 00, which will have to suspend all circulation. These measures will apply from April 5 to June 30, this being the time of year of greatest ozone concentration.
Up-to-date ‘Hoy No Circula’ information can be found at the (CAMe) website or Twitter account.
