The National Meteorological Service (SMN) reported that Tuesday the Valley of Mexico can expect very strong storms in the afternoon and night accompanied by thunder and lightning with likely hail.
The service said that the probability of very strong storms in the region is 80 percent.
Banks of morning mist and wind from the east and northeast are anticipated, with gusts that can exceed the 50 kilometers per hour (31 mph) as the storm passes.
In Mexico City, a maximum temperature of 25 to 27 degrees Celsius (77 to 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit) and a minimum of 14 to 16 degrees Celcius (57.2 to 60.8 Fahrenheit) is expected.
In the State of Mexico, a maximum of 21 to 23 degrees Celsius and minimums of 7 to 9 degrees is also expected.
