On Wednesday, the Metro Transportation System (STC) launched four trains that will be used to service lines 1, 2, 7 and 9.
Mexico City Mayor Miguel Ángel Mancera and officials of the STC were present for the new trains’ departure.
“Two of the trains that come into operation were given general maintenance, one more was rehabilitated and the other was modernized,” the agency wrote on its Twitter @MetroCDMX account.
