The remains of four people were found next to the Mexico City-Toluca highway near La Marquesa, State of Mexico. The presence of the bodies was reported by drivers who were passing through the area towards Mexico City.
The discovery took place near kilometer 38 on the Mexico City-Toluca highway. Federal Police cordoned off the area.
The Attorney General of the State of Mexico will investigate the crime. Traffic remains slow on the highway around the municipality of Lerma, especially towards Mexico City.
