A warehouse of the former Veracruz Gov. Javier Duarte de Ochoa was found in the city of Córdoba, Veracruz, informed current Gov. Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares.
Duarte de Ochoa, a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), is wanted by the State Attorney General for misappropriated public funds. He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him when the accusation was made, but know is unknown where he is.
Pictures, newspapers, works of art, various documents, clocks, barrels and china ware were found and insured by the State Attorney General.
Yunes Linares acknowledged the work of the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and the State Attorney General and reiterated its commitment to strictly enforce the law due to the economic situation that Duarte left in the state.
