Mexico City – With suspended particle concentrations slightly higher than 100 points, air quality is poor in the municipalities of Ecatepec and Coacalco, the Atmospheric Monitoring System reported on Wednesday.
While air quality is poor, it is recommended that people limit their heavy exercises outdoors, especially children and the elderly, or people with any type of respiratory disease.
The Mexico City Environment Secretariat explained that in the rest of the valley environmental conditions and air quality are within acceptable limits.
They secretariat reminded everyone that they should apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. and to stay in shaded areas or indoors during this time if possible.
