Four individuals were arrested on Tuesday afternoon in the borough of Tláhuac in Mexico City for alleged drug possession and trafficking.
The State Attorney General’s Office (PGJ) said that the suspects had 213,000 pesos ($12,108) and $475 with them, as well as different amounts of a substance that appeared to be cocaine.
The PGJ said that three individuals were arrested while allegedly dealing drugs on La Turba street in Tláhuac. A fourth individual arrived at the scene who according to the PGJ, “was trying to prevent officers from fulfilling their duty.” He was also arrested.
The suspects were taken to the Public Prosecutor’s Office where they will be arraigned.
