The faculty and degree programs are recognized by national institutions

The degrees in Industrial and Graphic Design of the Architecture and Design Department at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) were accredited for five more years by the Mexican Council for the Accreditation of Design Programs (Comaprod). The organization, recognized by the Council for the Accreditation of Higher Education (Copaes), endorses design programs at the bachelor’s degree level in the country.

The educational programs that are a part of this academic body are recognized by the Inter-Institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES).

The degrees in Architecture and Administration and Promotion of the Urban Work (APOU) are accredited until 2018. Industrial and Graphic Design degrees have also been given the go ahead until December 2021, guaranteeing academic improvement opportunities for the 1,741 students enrolled in the Architecture and Design Department.

The Industrial Design and Graphic Design Department was submitted to a peer review and received its visit during last September, as part of their re-accreditation process. The faculty will receive a follow-up visit from Comaprod to review its recommendations.
