The Special Prosecutor’s Office for Environmental Protection (Profepa) said that seven black bears were transferred from the La Pastora Zoo in Nuevo León to the Africam Safari natural reserve in Puebla and that they are currently in good condition.
Six male bears and one female were transported in air-conditioned vehicles with access to food and water. Their condition was monitored by two specialized veterinarians provided by Profepa.
