Air-quality is poor in Ecatepec Tuesday, at 103 points on Imeca Air Quality Index, according to the latest reports from the Mexico City Atmospheric Monitoring System. Measurements between 101 and 150 points is given the rating of “poor.”
In the rest of Mexico City, air quality is rated between “good” and “normal.” The Azcapotzalco and Venustiano Carranza districts of the city are both at “normal” air quality levels and have been measured at 65 and 68 points on the Imeca Air Quality Index, respectively.
In view of these conditions in Ecatepec, children, elderly people, or those with respiratory or cardiovascular diseases should limit their time outdoors. Intense physical activity should also be restricted.
