With the designation of José Antonio Estefan Garfias as its candidate to compete for the Oaxaca governorship, the coalition between the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) and the National Action Party (PAN) are postulating their fourth former member of the their rival Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), making it four out of five alliances for governor elections in which a former PRI member heads their coalition. The PRI, for its part, has not postulated any candidates to have militated in another party.
