There are events for every drink enthusiast

The fourth edition of Cocktail Week Fall-Winter starts this Friday evening in locations around Mexico City. Part of a global initiative, the week promotes fine drinking and the exploration of new social spaces around the city. This year, you’ll find Cocktail Week events in the top restaurants and bars of Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey.

A combination of the most creative mixologists, bartenders, celebrities and tastemakers will create new drinking experiences in some of the most innovative and cutting-edge bars and restaurants in Mexico City. This week is not solely dedicated to consumption. From lessons on ingredients to cocktail Master Classes, there will be countless opportunities for you to learn about Mexico’s alcohol tradition and make some of the city’s signature cocktails along with the world’s top bartenders and mixologists.

There are events for every drink enthusiast. Parker & Lenox will have a Master Cocktail Class on Oct. 18 to demonstrate how to make their house cocktail, Madame Kong. Artemisia in Roma Norte will be hosting Lauren Mote, best bartender of Canada, for Ladies Night to celebrate women in the cocktail world.

Mica Rousseau, who just won Best Bartender of Mexico at World Class Miami 2016 which took place last September, will also be sharing his secrets. Make sure you don’t miss out on Mica’s Master Class at Fifty Mills in Juárez.

There will be classes and talks, parties, DJs and live music in various bars around the city — make sure you go online for the full schedule. Mexico’s access to a rich diversity of ingredients and alcohols will surely make Cocktail Week a unique drinking experience not to be missed.

Cocktail Week runs from Oct. 14-23 in locations around the city.
Most events require RSVP.
