Women from Michoacán close ranks to deliver the baton of the country to Claudia Sheinbaum in 2024

Women entrepreneurs, academics, scientists and the native peoples of Michoacán recognized Claudia Sheinbaum's leadership and ability to lead the country in 2024

Under the motto “For Her, For All” “If She Arrives, We Will Arrive All”, women from different social sectors of this entity, joined this national feminist movement that travels the country with the aim of ensuring that a woman occupies the chair presidential election during the next electoral process in 2024.

In a press conference, the lawyer and current Oaxacan deputy Mariana Benítez Tiburcio, celebrated the determination of businesswomen, academics, and women from the indigenous peoples to close ranks in a single collective project and the same agenda of feminist causes.

“After 65 presidents who have governed the country; Today, as never before in the history of Mexico, all the conditions exist for a woman to be President. It is time to give a woman the opportunity, ”he agreed.

The Oaxacan legislator argued that “For Her, For All” is a call to action so that all women from the area in which they develop join the project of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, whose profile is sensitive and empathetic to carry the women’s agenda for a better port.

On her occasion, former deputy and lawyer Lorena Villavicencio stressed that Mexico demands social justice for thousands of women and girls, because there is deep inequality that affects the full development of Mexican women.

“We call on all Mexican women to build a country where women exercise their rights and ring the bell next 2024. For this reason, this movement seeks the deep dignity of all women and we call on Mexican women to close ranks to give the bell ringing and handing over the baton to Claudia Sheinbaum”, he pondered.

In this context, the lawyer Lorena Villavicencio indicated that they will continue walking through the municipalities and states of the country, to unite women and learn about the reality that thousands of Mexican women face.
In this context, former legislator Teresa Ramos highlighted that the Head of Government has shown that she has the capacity to be President, since she has made important achievements for women in Mexico City and has consolidated an effective government in one of the largest cities in the world.

“That is why in these forums and dialogue meetings we are going to listen to all the women who want to participate so that together we can build an agenda that is the basis of the government policy of Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum”, she stated.

When speaking, the first Rector of the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo, Dr. Silvia Figueroa presented the 10-point manifesto of the “Por Ella, Por Todas” movement that governs the construction of a government platform where the women fully exercise their rights.

In her speech, the Environmental Impact science teacher, Catalina Rosa Monge, pointed out that the Head of Government has the best scientific profile to establish policies in favor of the environment, as demonstrated in Michoacán in her professional thesis.

“She is a woman who has put science, technology and innovation at the service of the majority, as she has done in public transport to promote air quality in Mexico City, which positions her as an innovative woman throughout the world. world,” he said.

In turn, the teacher Fidelina de Jesús Cipriano, teacher of the indigenous environment and founder of the Center for Studies and Research in the Indigenous Environment in Michoacán (CEIEMIM), stressed that the native peoples feel sheltered and represented by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum for their work carried out in the Purépecha plateau.

“Let’s go with Dr. Claudia, because also in the educational field she helps us solve this lag that we have in Michoacán,” he added.

It should be noted that the local deputy from Michoacán, Seyra Alemán, the teacher Norma Lorena Gaona Farias, the indigenous lawyer Celfia Itzel Duarte and the feminist activist Shamadhi Díaz Tinoco also participated in the meeting, who recognized in Claudia Sheinbaum, a sensitive woman committed to the Mexican causes.
