Rappi, Uber and DiDi Food distributors, who make up the #NiUnRedistribudorMenos collective, called a work stoppage on November 3 through Twitter.
The suspension of work by the Mexican food distributors of these services is added to those carried out by workers from the United States and other places in Latin America.
The strike aims to demand better working conditions, in addition to protesting against the lack of responsibility of their employers in serious accidents.

“56 deceased colleagues from March 2020 to date. We cannot continue allowing more Accidents, Mutilated or Dead and that neither Applications or Responsibles pay for this. See you on November 3,” the group said on Twitter.
In addition to the work stoppage to demand better working conditions, the delivery men will carry out a mobilization, at 6:00 p.m. on November 3, which will begin at the Estela de Luz to advance towards the Zócalo of Mexico City.
Some of the demands of these workers for food platforms are:
-Paid leave for illness or accident
-Basic salary
-Additional payment that contemplates conditions such as rain and night hours
-Medical expenses insurance
According to the group, this would be the fifth stoppage of work carried out to request fair working conditions, since the delivery men are not considered, by the platforms, formal workers.
Recently, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) signed an agreement with the most popular home metering services to offer workers enrollment in the Compulsory Regime for Independent Workers for the payment of a daily fee.
