The dollar rose ten centavos Wednesday, closing at a selling price of 21.09 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.91 pesos.
The euro declined three centavos to close at 22.23 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.16 pesos and 0.213 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.6901 pesos per dollar.
