The dollar gained four centavos to close at a selling price of 20.80 pesos at Mexico City currency exchanges Friday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.61 pesos.
The euro lost eight centavos to close at 21.92 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.03 pesos and 0.204 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.3305 pesos per dollar.
