The dollar rose one centavo to close at a selling price of 20.73 pesos Wednesday at Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 19.54 pesos.
The euro declined eight centavos to close at 22.11 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 25.68 pesos and 0.216 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.2884 pesos per dollar.
