The dollar was sold for 19.15 pesos at Mexico City banks Wednesday, the same price as Tuesday. The dollar was purchased for 18.34 pesos.
The euro gained 16 centavos to close at 21.31 pesos, while the pound and yen were sold at 25.08 pesos and 0.205 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.8611 pesos per dollar.
