The dollar was sold at 19.08 pesos at Mexico City banks Thursday, seven centavos less than on Wednesday. Banks purchased the dollar for a minimum of 18.26 pesos.
The euro lost three centavos to close at 21.28 pesos, while the pound and yen were sold at 25.22 pesos and 0.199 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 18.8523 pesos per dollar.
