MEXICO CITY — The U.S. dollar sold at banks in Mexico City at a maximum price of 18.71 pesos, unchanged from the opening of the trading day, and is being purchased at a minimum of 17.91 pesos.
Meanwhile, the euro loses two centavos against its opening price at 20.80 pesos, and the yen is being offered up at 0.181 pesos.
According to Banamex, the position of the Federal Reserve with respect to the interest rate hike creates an uncertain impact on the dollar.
