The dollar rose 34 cents to close at a selling price of 22.33 pesos on Wednesday, at the Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 21.15 pesos.
The euro rose 28 centavos to 23.79 pesos, while the pound closed at 27.33 pesos.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the exchange rate at 21.8514 pesos per dollar.
