The dollar rose 16 centavos to close at a selling price of 22.32 pesos on Wednesday, at the Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 21.12 pesos.
The euro rose 19 centavos to close at 23.57 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 27.17 and 0.221 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official rate at 21.9076 pesos per dollar.
