The dollar rose 14 centavos to close at a selling price of 22.10 pesos on Monday, at the Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 20.91 pesos.
The euro rose five centavos to 23.41 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 26.54 and 0.222 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official rate at 21.6643 pesos per dollar.
