MEXICO CITY — At midday trading the U.S. dollar withdrew five centavos from its opening value to be offered at up to 18.85 pesos, and was purchased at a minimum of 18.02 pesos in Mexico City banks.
The euro is down 17 centavos to a sale price of 20.77 pesos compared to this morning, while the British pound sold at 24.36 pesos and the yen was offered up to 0.230 pesos.
According to analysts at CI Banco, the employment report in the United States gave a positive impulse to the Mexican currency.
