The dollar dropped 12 centavos to close at a selling price of 21.06 pesos on Friday at the Mexico City currency exchanges. Banks sold the dollar for a minimum of 19.88 pesos.
The euro fell nine centavos to close at 22 pesos, while the pound and yen closed at 25.76 and 0.203 pesos, respectively.
Mexico’s Central Bank (Banxico) set the official exchange rate at 20.6271 pesos per dollar.
